Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. An agent for talent noticed her talents and urged her to pursue a career acting or modeling. After much deliberation and consideration, she decided to leave the University and entered the industry of entertainment. She first made an appearance in the film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. It took her some time to perfect her acting skills and was featured in numerous low-budget productions in attempt to showcase her skills.
